Colorado Academy Hosts Human Rights Leaders

On Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., Colorado Academy will host the “I Am the Change” World Tour, an esteemed trio of human rights luminaries and legends - Ndaba Mandela, the grandson of Nelson Mandela; Donisha Prendergast, Bob & Rita Marley’s granddaughter; and Jasmine Rand, the family attorney for Trayvon Martin.

 

This event will encourage students and adults to pursue meaningful change in their own lives and in the lives of others. Families welcome; a light dinner will be served.

 

The presentation is most appropriate for children in grades four and up. The event is co-hosted by CA’s SPEAK lecture program and CA Trustees Nina Henderson Moore and Eliza Prall.
