Senior-Kindergarten Buddies
Many students say their favorite Colorado Academy tradition is the Senior-Kindergarten Buddy Program, because it allows them to connect with the next generation of CA students.
Each year in the fall, the Senior Class Dean and Lower School Principal call out the names of very eager (and sometimes nervous) Seniors and matches them with their very excited (and sometimes nervous) Kindergarten Buddies. This anticipated meeting kicks off a school year where the Buddies spend time together, attend events and assemblies, do craft projects, and visit the Denver Zoo as a fun, end-of-year highlight.
