Upcoming Events

All-School Arts Festival

Our show, titled “Process to Express” is a celebration of all of our artists Pre-K-12. In addition to having students' work on display in the LS, MS and US, we will be honoring the artists’  creative process by having interactive art activities around campus.

Artists and families can create their own flip books, see how a zoetrope works, add thread and yarn to our textile wall, take a picture in a vintage RV, interact with our one-minute sculptures, and build a sculpture out of the blue blocks. Visitors should also visit the atrium, outside the LS library, to experience a Pre-K-5 collaborative art installation of outer space.

In addition to making and viewing art, everyone can enjoy pizza from two vintage Ford food trucks from Mountain Crust. Bring your picnic blankets and enjoy your wood-fire pizza while listening to two bands on Stamper Commons. The MS Jazz band will be performing, as well as a return visit by Midzi, our own faculty member, Dani Meyer’s, Marimba Band.

We also have exciting news this year. We are honored to announce that we will have a guest artist William Stoehr with us.  One of his works, “Sarah-4” was a gift to CA for installation in the Ponzio Art Building.

The Ponzio gallery will have many of Stoehr's paintings on display, and his opening will take place during the CA Festival. He will be here demonstrating his expressive style of applying paint to his large canvases.  You won’t want to miss it!
