Families, Fans Celebrate Senior Student-Athletes on 2026 Spring Signing Day

On April 21, 2026—spring Signing Day—Colorado Academy families and fans celebrated 11 Senior student-athletes committed to play college sports.

Introducing the talented group of Mustangs, Athletic Director Jon Hill said, “It has been an honor to watch you practice, attend your games, recognize you at banquets, and travel to tournaments and out-of-state competitions with you.”

More importantly, Hill noted, “It has been an honor to watch you grow and become inspiring student athletes. You have been leaders on this campus, on and off the field, court, or on the water. You have set the bar high for the athletes that follow. Today marks a significant milestone for these students, their families, and the CA community.”

Hill acknowledged the many family members in attendance for Signing Day, telling the audience, “Your dedication, encouragement, and support have been the backbone of this success. This signing is a celebration of your sacrifices and commitment, as well. Behind every signature we celebrated today is a journey—the early mornings, the missed social events, the travel, and the unwavering dedication to excellence in both the classroom and to your individual sport. You have sacrificed a great deal to get here, and you should be incredibly proud of your grit and perseverance.”

• Estevan Loya - Pitzer College, Football
• Will McCandless - Macalester College, Baseball
• Oliver Neely - Emory University - Oxford College, Tennis
• Evi Sorensen - Ithaca College, Rowing
• Pablo Stewart - St. Olaf College, Soccer
