Four couples are invited for a weekend of music and camaraderie at the Benson Ranch, located 15 miles north of Silverthorne on the Blue River below the Gore Range. Your group will stay two nights at the Benson Ranch, and CA parents and Lovefest Chairs Ann Benson Reidy ’88 and Kevin Reidy will be on hand to make sure your group has everything you need for the perfect ranch getaway weekend.
During the day, you and your guests can enjoy guided trout fishing, horseback riding, and hiking. To be sure that you are outfitted appropriately for fishing, CA parent Tucker Ladd (who owns Trouts Fly Fishing, Denver's premier fly shop and outfitter) will provide fly fishing packages for each couple including fly boxes with flies appropriate for the fishing at the ranch plus Trouts hats and gear.
In addition to an amazing fly-fishing outing, CA parent Woody Beardsley has offered to take the group on a special horseback ride at his family’s spectacular ranch, which is located just across the road from the Benson Ranch. The weekend will also include a delicious charcuterie board from CA parent Alexandra Band (who owns Overboards Denver), a wonderful meal prepared by Executive Chef and CA parent Nelson Perkins, a Friday night performance by CA parent Ted Parks and his band The Busted Bones, and a Saturday acoustic guitar session around the campfire with CA’s own singer/songwriter, Dr. Mike Davis.
As if a weekend at the beautiful Benson Ranch was not enough, each couple will also receive a framed special edition of four screened prints on collage from western artist Duke Beardsley.
What an amazing weekend getaway!
