Colorado Academy Athletic Center
Come be part of the love and celebrate the CA community with a night of rock, alternative hip-hop, and laid-back blues as we raise money for financial aid.
G. Love & Special Sauce
Isaac Slade of The Fray
Isaac Slade, The Fray’s front man, lead vocalist, and songwriter, will open the concert with an intimate set on piano and guitar, playing some of The Fray’s best-known hits. Based in Denver, The Fray garnered fame with their debut album How to Save a Life and the collection’s first single Over My Head (Cable Car) , which became certified double platinum.
G. Love & Special Sauce are known for their blend of hip-hop and “unhinged blues,” with a hint of classic R&B. The band just launched its 2020 “Juice Tour” featuring its latest album, The Juice. Among their well-known hits are Peace, Love and Happiness, Baby’s Got Sauce, Bloodshot and Blue, Hot Cookin’, Love, and many others.
The Concert will be held in CA’s Athletic Center and will be preceded by the Good Vibes Pre-Party in the Main Gym featuring delicious hors d’oeuvres and beverages. Upper-level Benefactors and Individual VIP Ticket Buyers are invited to a special VIP Party during the Good Vibes Pre-Party and have the opportunity to meet the performers.
All net proceeds from the Concert support Colorado Academy’s commitment to financial aid. In the coming year, $3.9 million will be provided to 19 percent of the school’s student population.
Concert Benefactor packages are now available and include a variety of benefits.
Individual event tickets (which include food and beverage) will go on sale March 2 at an early-bird price of $150. The individual ticket price increases to $225 on March 30.
