The CA vs. Kent rivalry heats up once again with the annual Showdown Series!

This much-anticipated tradition brings the Colorado Academy Mustangs and Kent Denver Sun Devils head-to-head across multiple sports in one action-packed day, uniting students, parents, alumni, families, and faculty in a celebration of school spirit and fierce competition. Let the showdown continue!

Hosted at the University of Denver, the Winter Showdown Series will feature multiple games on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Come prepared for the Black Out in your CA black!

Winter Showdown Schedule:

  • 4:00 p.m. - Varsity Girls Basketball (Hamilton Arena)

  • 5:30 p.m. - Varsity Boys Basketball (Hamilton Arena)

  • 7:00 p.m. - Varsity Ice Hockey (Magness Arena)
