Wisdom Echoes in CA Senior Speech Tradition
Senior Speeches have been a Colorado Academy institution for 10 years. Throughout that time, Twelfth Graders have volunteered to take to a microphone during an Upper School Town Hall to share something that matters—from the monumental to the seemingly trivial. Senior Speeches aren’t a requirement; they are simply an open invitation for anyone who wants to stand up in front of their community.

A Scottish Tale with Logan (Brown) Snow ’07
In the fall of 1999, Colorado Academy Fifth Grader Logan (Brown) Snow ’07 was headed to Edinburgh, Scotland, as part of CA’s long-running Scottish Exchange program. Meet Emma Harrington Kane '07

Emma Harrington Kane '07

CA Director of Alumni Relations

Emma Harrington Kane '07

Upon the first moment Emma walked on Colorado Academy’s campus, she knew that CA was a place that offered life-changing opportunities. Starting in Sixth Grade, Emma explored the world of Middle School circus, her first Interim adventures, and was challenged academically. As she continued her Upper School education and expanded her horizons with everything from Chamber Choir with Mrs. Jordan to Varsity Soccer with Coach Sean and Senior Seminar with Ms. Strobridge, Emma enjoyed the tight-knit community that supported learning through exploration in many different forms. After attending chilly Colby College, Emma came back to Denver to work in a variety of corporate roles focused on business growth opportunities, primarily in E-commerce sales development. Excited to rejoin the community that meant so much to her, Emma joined the CA Advancement team in 2023 with a focus on strengthening alumni connections through continuing valued traditions and introducing new avenues for CA alumni to unite.
