H.O.P.E. is a student run organization that annually hosts low income families from around the Denver metro community for one day during the holiday season. Through the generous contributions from the CA community we provide families with a warm meal, clothes, diapers, toiletries, shoes and books that they would not be able to have otherwise. Last year we hosted about 2000 people, a record amount, and this year we hope to host even more!
Donate to H.O.P.E If you would like to contribute to H.O.P.E. in a different way we are always accepting donations! Here are somethings that we would greatly appreciate:
- Diapers-these do not need to be brand new boxes
- Clothes - old/new clothing, everything from infant clothing to adult clothing. We request that if possible you label the bags of clothes with the gender and age division of the clothing, for example, female child/male adult/etc.
- Shoes-we always run out of shoes!
- Toiletries - unused and unopened toiletires including bath products, female hygiene products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant
- Books - The day of the event we set up a reading corner to promote literacy and to further educational engagement of the children.
