Leadership Societies

Leadership giving at CA is vital to the success of the Annual Campaign.  Last year more than 70% of CA's Annual Campaign came from donors who joined one of the following Leadership Societies.

Membership in one of these societies demonstrates to others outside our community the high level of commitment displayed by our most loyal donors.

Alchemist Club

With a gift of $2,500 to $4,999 to the CA Annual Campaign, a donor becomes an Alchemist Club member.  The donor is invited to the annual Alchemist Dinner in the spring where the Head of School delivers the state of the school address.  The donor is acknowledged in the Annual Report and receives a thank you recognition gift.

Headmaster’s Club
With a gift of $5,000 to $9,999, to the CA Annual Campaign, a donor joins the Headmaster’s Club and is invited to the annual Alchemist Dinner as well as the Board of Trustees Holiday Dinner with current and former trustees of Colorado Academy. The donor is acknowledged in the Annual Report and receives special invitations to various school-wide functions as well as a thank you recognition gift.

Leadership Roundtable
As a member of the Leadership Roundtable, with a gift of $10,000 to $24,999, a donor receives invitations to the Alchemist Dinner, the Board of Trustees Holiday Dinner, and an exclusive Leadership Roundtable event with the Head of School and Chair of the Board of Trustees.  The donor is acknowledged in the Annual Report and receives special invitations to various school-wide functions as well as a thank you recognition gift.

Second Century Club
As a member of the Second Century Club, with a gift of $25,000 or more, a donor receives invitations to the Alchemist Dinner, the Board of Trustees Holiday Dinner, the Leadership Roundtable event, and a dinner at the Head of School's home in the Spring.  The donor is acknowledged in the Annual Report and receives special invitations to various school-wide functions as well as a thank you recognition gift.

The Musil Society

A.J. Musil, a CA teacher and administrator, was a fixture on campus from 1961 until his death in 1991. When he died, Mr. Musil left almost all of his estate to Colorado Academy.  In his own quiet way, he was a trailblazer—the first to leave a lasting legacy at CA.  In 1992, the Musil Society was created in his honor to recognize those who have included CA in their estate plans.  The Musil Society allows friends of the school to make a gift to CA through long-term plans such as bequests, trusts, life insurance, and other methods of estate planning.
