Faculty salaries are competitive, and a full range of benefits is offered, including medical and life insurance, as well as TIAA-CREF retirement funding. Professional development is a priority at Colorado Academy and is supported by a $100,000 annual budget. Employee child care is also offered.

Competitive Compensation
Starting salaries are based on the teacher’s or administrator’s education and experience. Our entry salary scale is competitive with other school districts in the Denver metro area.
Comprehensive Insurance Coverage
All full-time employees are eligible to receive comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. CA also provides life and disability insurance to its full-time staff.
Professional Development
All CA employees are encouraged to enhance their skills and further their career advancement through both CA-sponsored and independent seminars and workshops. CA provides a supportive environment in which employees are viewed and rewarded as valuable members of our academic community.
Retirement Plan
Eligible employees may participate in the school’s retirement pension plan offered by TIAA-CREF. Two years of employment at CA is required for participation in the retirement program, unless the employee is a current participant in TIAA-CREF or has completed two years of service with an eligible employer, such as another academic institution.
Employee Child Care
An on-site child-care facility, staffed by qualified care givers, is available to faculty and staff members for children aged 3 months to 3 years. The cost is competitive with other local child-care facilities. Children are accepted on a space-available basis.
