Annual Campaign
The Annual Campaign is the foundation of our fundraising efforts at Colorado Academy. By supporting CA’s Annual Campaign, you are helping us educate the leaders of tomorrow.

CA tuition covers only 85% of the cost of educating a CA student; our Annual Campaign helps us make up the difference between the actual costs of educating each student and the tuition charged. Colorado Academy asks trustees, both current and former parents, alumni, grandparents, foundations, as well as faculty and staff to participate in the Annual Campaign.

Participation in the Annual Campaign is critical, as much of what we are able to accomplish at CA is made possible by a healthy annual-giving program. Regardless of the size of the gift provided, your participation in the Annual Campaign demonstrates your support of CA’s core values and mission. Moreover, when the outside community sees that CA has a high participation rate, it helps the school secure additional funding from corporations and foundations.

As part of the Annual Campaign, donors can earmark their dollars for specific components of CA’s operating budget. The individual fund designations included in the Annual Campaign are:

Academics—The core of the CA experience, the Academics fund helps provide each student the materials needed in the classroom and allows faculty to attend professional workshops, conferences, and training.
Arts—The Fine and Performing Arts fund ensures that students can explore and hone their creative aptitude.
Athletics—The Athletics fund gives CA students an opportunity to sharpen skills, become better players and people, and develop confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Child Care Programs—Child care programs at CA include Pre-Kindergarten care, before- and after-school care, employee day care, and summer camp programs. Donations to this fund may qualify for Colorado’s Child Care Tax Credit, which lets you deduct 50% of the total contribution from your state income tax filing while still claiming the full contribution on your federal and state tax returns.
Financial Aid—The Financial Aid fund provides all deserving children the opportunity to attend the finest independent school in Colorado. Your support fulfills our commitment to diversity and builds a richer student experience. Please click here for a list of CA’s named scholarship funds.
Technology—Through the Technology fund, CA has been able to provide state-of-the-art equipment, exceptionally trained faculty and staff, and ongoing technological programming.
Where Needed Most—The Where Needed Most designation allows CA to utilize your gift for the most-needed area of the school’s operating budget. Whether it is for the Upper or Middle School Interim programs, books for the library, or new athletic equipment, this fund helps ensure that monies are available as needed.
